    I used it on the floor of my shed (on a concrete platform). Firstly, we lay vinyl tiles to cover the cement. Then place this insulation material on top of the tiles, and we add vinyl tiles ("wooden" boards) on top of the insulation material. The temperature inside the shed immediately rose by 13 degrees Fahrenheit< Even if the outdoor temperature is 10 degrees Fahrenheit and two heating lamps are used (without any other heat source), the temperature inside the greenhouse is still 43 degrees. We have our self-made solar system in the shed.

    So I first bought it to insulate a box for the cat (to be honest, I'm not sure if he used it because I added lining). I have some leftover materials, and I (very roughly) throw some leftover EVA foam around to make a square, so that I can sit on it when the park or other places are very cold. Then, I just added panels to my garage door and added some weatherstripping to the top crack of the door. I hope this will help maintain warmth< This material is great. You can almost immediately feel the reflected heat. If you place your hand one or two inches away, you can feel warmth emanating backwards.

    I purchased this product last summer (2022), so I am now able to provide a realistic review of its actual content. Although it is an insulation product, it is not a "foil" surface - at least not the definition of "foil" that most people believe< I have a small tool/storage shed where I store a pressurized propane tank. Although the water tank can easily cope with the high summer temperatures deep in the south in a closed structure, I want to apply it to the top of an open canopy to help transfer some heat (and lower the internal temperature). Result: It worked. The temperature dropped by 20 degrees (F). However, as time passed, I noticed that the product was not suitable for exposure to the external environment. It can't stand on its feet< Within 6 months, I easily observed cracking, and by 8 months, it began to peel and peel off - that's when I noticed the truth and fact of his product - it wasn't aluminum foil. By using 'aluminum foil', it implies that it is some kind of aluminum or metallic substance that can resist elements. no The surface is just a very thin 'plastic', painted silver to create a misleading appearance that it is some kind of metal, such as aluminum. My neighbor accurately described 'painted bubble wrap'< Wait, there are more. You will at least think, 'Well, even if the outer surface of the insulation material peels off, at least you will have some bubble insulation material, which will help protect what you are wrapping around it, right? Once the painted plastic surface peels off from the middle insulation part, the insulation part will deflate. It becomes lifeless and even no longer provides insulation value.' So, what is the solution to this problem? After you apply this product, the only thing I can think of is it, and then you have to walk behind it and apply a thin sheet or 'real' aluminum foil - to get a thicker restaurant grade than what you buy and cook in the oven. '. If you purchase from the restaurant supply, you will find it much cheaper. Yes, you must obtain a roll of adhesive aluminum foil tape (used to seal HVAC duct systems) to connect each layer/row of aluminum foil< If you don't follow my advice, this product won't last. Unless you can find similar products made of real aluminum foil. In addition, beware of the so-called "aluminum foil surface" hard foam boards in Lowe's and Home Depot. The same issue - this is not real aluminum foil on the surface of the board, but just silver painted paper. Ensure that what you are purchasing is actually aluminum foil on the surface. Good luck!

I decided to try putting these things together and see what happens. I was surprised by the temperature changes at the bedside. It changed from the reading of 57 degrees on my digital thermometer to 65 degrees. I just purchased the second volume and will buy more to line my outdoor cat shelter and basement windows. If you live in an old and ventilated house or apartment, I suggest buying a lot of these things such as rolls and some thumb nails to help you stay warm and reduce your heating costs.

It is easy to cut and bind, but I quickly ran out of it and the product itself did not leave a deep impression on me. It looks very thin and inconspicuous. For a small amount in one roll - you will need one ton to carry out larger projects, which will eventually become very expensive: I ultimately used other materials for insulation< Although if you have some small things that need to be covered - I'm sure this will provide enough insulation.

    In the spring of 2023, three rolls of 100 foot radiation barriers were purchased and installed in the attic above the house and the secondary attic above the garage. Barrier is a high-quality product that is easy to use, although there may be some balance that requires effort and good balance among framework members. I nailed the barrier of the roof frame with a 1-inch overlap - it would be much easier to install with a helper - but with patience, it can be done. I must have noticed the difference in effort and lower electricity bills for air conditioning work this summer. I strongly recommend this type of radiation barrier.

    Don't be fooled, this is completely different from Reflectix bubble wrap. There is an actual insulation core here, you can see it! We used it to add an additional protective layer to the lower abdomen of our 5th round toy transport vehicle, located above the Reflectix where it is currently located. I hope it helps to keep more heat entering/cooling in colder weather. Time will prove everything. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and recommend it for similar purposes.

    In recent years, due to the hot summer weather, our rooms have always been overheated in the afternoon. I cut a roll into pieces and hung it on the window to protect the plants on the windowsill from sunlight/heat. It actually helps keep the room cool and also helps maintain the efficiency of the air conditioning. Cheap and effective; Who doesn't like it?

I ordered this item for my attic in Alaska in October. The supplier has not shipped for three weeks. UPS took a week to process it, two days to ship it to Alaska (normal), and then three weeks to deliver it! Any FedEx or USPS order takes less than five days. I can't accept it!! Especially when transporting insulation materials to Alaska during winter!! One and a half months! Lament. UPS and the supplier should pay me for two months of heating expenses.

I will have to try creating labels that overlap with both sides and glue them together to see if it can create an internal insulation layer for reusable shopping bags. As an insulation and moisture resistant form, it will be nailed to the wood inside walls or roofs, and I am not sure if it will tear due to these punctures.

My original reflexix lasted for 8 years and I used it a lot. Smartshield cuts to fit and protects edges with tape, tears will come in less than a year!

I don't want to cover the window, so I think the sunshade is the second best< It has made a huge difference! It is not only exposed to direct sunlight and high temperatures, but also beaten by squirrels and bird droppings. It has been maintained very well. Once it becomes cool, I will take it off, but I will rebuild and use this product to create a complete camper van roof cover and sunshade for all windows. I don't care what it looks like, because it withstands external elements and retains a lot of heat< I compared it to 90% of sunshades, which do not squat to block heat< I plan to purchase more soon. Initially, double-sided 2-inch tape was used to fix the JT21 size staples of the staple gun very well due to excessive damage switch. The shiny surface of the insulation material facing the heat source, so I am facing these towards the street. Next, the trimmed 4x8 foam panel is trimmed around the hinge to fit tightly, and the foam panel is fixed to the four horizontal panels of each door with building adhesive and flange screws. Oh, yes, stop it! Before fixing the insulation board, this is a good time for worn rollers - you can replace them later, but the hinge screws will/may be under foam. Rinse and repeat all doors< Super clean appearance, the garage door can withstand the temperature during the season.

I was influenced by some critics who complained that there were many holes in the foam, and I returned it. Like them, I think this is a flaw. Later, I realized that those people did not have a correct understanding of the properties of this insulation material< Br>
    I hope the description can explain more that this is a perforated foam insulation material. The regular pattern of a series of small holes is part of this insulating material. These holes are designed to help remove steam and moisture from the inside out. They are so small that they actually do not have a negative impact on the performance of foam, that is, they do not transfer any significant heat or cooling< Br>
    In winter, I used this foam to block the backyard door and other doors to prevent heat loss. It works very well. I blocked the air conditioning ceiling vent that absorbs heat and covered the huge ceiling vent of the old house fan in the attic. This foam saved me a lot of money. Now, in summer, when the sun is scorching, I cover the windows with the same thing.

When the ambient temperature reaches 95F, the room usually reaches 100F. The insulation material now keeps the room below 90F (up to 88F), so it does provide some protection. I think another heat leak comes from other smaller windows and the general wall temperature. It's not bad to spend too much money.

    When I first opened it, I thought the insulation layer was too thin and the silver cover was too thin. The fact is not so. I wrapped it around the AC exhaust pipe, and it can indeed keep hot air out of the room. I fixed it together with tape, and it didn't tear the thin silver cover at all. However, I did have to tie a rope around it because the tape had loosened in several places. I strongly recommend it.

Northern California usually has mild summers, but this week's heatwave is coming and we will approach 100 (or even 104) within a week to 10 days. I placed it behind my sunglasses with transparent 3M double lock tape. This is very simple and immediately changes the coolness of the house - now the air conditioner has a battle chance to do its job, and once the heat wave is over, it is easy to dismantle and store. I ordered a 3mm, 24 inch wide door and a 48 inch wide sunroof. It's very lightweight and really effective!

    It's almost 1pm in Maryland. I usually go in before 11 o'clock because even with high-power ceiling fans, the iron roof on the pavilion will quickly heat up. We have Cooloo curtains on the sunny side, but we have to pay attention to the heat on the roof. My husband and I have insulated the roof this year, so even in the scorching sun, there should be at least a 20 degree difference. We nail it in place and then add wooden strips to ensure it stays in place. It is easy to install and requires both of us because it is installed on the ceiling. It is easy to reference and we have not encountered any issues with product tearing during our work. We have 2 different roof lines, one is an A-frame, and we used wider insulation material. The other roof is a four pitched roof, so due to the angle and support, we used 24 inches of insulation material. Overall, I think this is a good investment. You can't do anything, but at least now the heat on the roof isn't baking you, and the fan can move the colder air down instead of the hot air. Now that the sun has risen from behind, I have lowered the curtains for greater cooling!

Usually, due to these windows, the temperature in our bedroom is about 5-10 degrees higher (compared to other parts of the house - this is wild!!), so we use this material to cover and shade the windows and get thermal protection. We like to use it in the toddler's room because he really likes to nap in dark places, which is definitely the perfect solution. Considering that I just posted these contents today, if I find any changes in material quality and durability over time, I will update my review. So far, I feel great!!

Even if your house or apartment is cheap, your windows will still be the weakest point of insulation. Adding additional materials and reflecting light has become the most popular area, with a sunlit window outside the hallway and a sturdy 15 degree Fahrenheit cooler< By the way, unless you plan to cover only 2.5 large windows, springs are suitable for 24x25 or larger< August suddenly feels much better. 20 dollars is worth it.

Beautiful thick and tough plastic foil on both sides of the rubber, insulated in the center of the product< I used blue masking tape to double and secure the insulation board to the window. It doesn't look very beautiful from the outside, but it completely blocks the sunlight and 90% of the heat, transferring it to my bedroom< Okay, it must be here again.

    There are pinholes, but light can still be filtered through our sliding glass door. Easy to cut.

    Medium quality, a bit thin, but there is very little water leakage when holding cold objects. If you use two coats, it will be more useful.

So I searched online for a product that can block sunlight< Br>I bought SmartSHIELD -3mm 48inx10ft reflective insulation roll, foam core radiation barrier, ThermalINSULATION Shield - the purchase of engineering foil is more like an experiment to see whether it can shield the hot sun. The size I ordered covers 2 windows. I measured my window, cut out the size, pasted it on the window, and fixed it with packaging tape. The product has been in use for two weeks, and I got a strange summer from my power company and found that I saved $30 in just one week. One week later. I am looking forward to seeing how this window insulation material will reduce my monthly electricity bill. It is easy to install and reasonably priced. I will recommend this product. Membrane memory

    We need some quick things to help alleviate the heat on the fifth wheel, and I have found that SmartShield comes in many different sizes. This is a very good price, and the delivery speed is super fast. It is easy to manage (lightweight), cut and install, and works very well. I bought it for the second time and placed it on the walls of the storage room, medicine cabinet, and closet - the heat was amazing because it was only 90 degrees outside. This is exactly what we needed, and we got it in a timely manner. The difficult part is finding something that I can use to stick it to windows and walls, but cannot remove paint or wall materials - the blue painter's tape is successful. For the interior of the storage room and cabinets, I used reusable double-sided tape. So far, it has been around. There are many reflective materials on the market, which look like bubble wrap that looks like aluminum foil. It is also very versatile because we even use it to highlight the inner top of our freezer to prevent things from heating up too quickly.

    I have three layers of glass windows that can effectively block the cold, but in my home with windows facing east and west, they cannot compare to the hot summer temperatures. This product is a huge help. I cut the fragments tightly into the window frame (i.e., these fragments are slightly larger than the window), and they keep rising without any other fasteners. It does a great job in blocking heat during the day, and these fragments are easy to roll up and store.
