I have an 80 pound shepherd dog and a 20 pound hybrid breed. My shepherd's nails are very hard, like horse hooves. I am unable to cut them and worried that if I cut them, they will split. A few years ago, I used Pedi claws on one of my dogs and it worked very well, but the sandpaper head kept wearing out quickly. I ordered a nail grinder and hope it works - and its effect is much better than I expected. It is quiet, easy to grip, and performs well on everyone's nails. I strongly recommend this.

This is my third time purchasing a nail grounding product At first, I tried a cordless Dremel, but its sound was loud and its power was too high, so my dog was really scared. The second product looks very similar to this one, but it is noisy and lacks sufficient power. This is great - both low and high speeds are almost silent, and it has a diamond grinding wheel that looks like it could last for several years without needing to be replaced. I also found that this is very effective for caressing the beak and nails of my parrot. I didn't expect that bird to go, but he didn't seem to mind at all, which is very surprising. This product is pre charged with approximately 90% of the battery. I plug the USB cable into its computer and it charges to 100% in approximately 30 minutes or less. I think I might buy more of these things as gifts, hoping that during the pandemic lockdown, the beauticians seem to have closed down, so I have to do all of this myself.     I used to have three dog nail grinders. So far, this has defeated all of them!! The others have received good reviews on and have completed their work, but this surpasses them. It is very quiet in both settings, which is great, especially for timid cubs. Too fast! I have three dogs, each one takes a few minutes, for a total of about 30 minutes. There is no such thing. All 3 times were completed in less than 10 times and were shorter and looked better than when using other grinders. It's not as hot as the others either. I am very touched. The packaging is very good. It has everything you need. The company sent paper manuals, but also sent email copies. There is also a lifetime warranty. I will definitely recommend this grinder to any dog owner!

I can trim them all to a slightly smaller size, but it's not enough for a true cut. This is likely something I have to do every day, one treatment at a time, until they reach the required length, and then regularly keep up from there. The product itself is great, that's why I gave it 5 stars, but be prepared to spend some time using it.     With COVID, regularly having my dog go to a beautician for nail trimming has always been a challenge. I like this nail trimmer. It's easy to charge (I plugged it into my USB port) and surprisingly quiet. I am still training my dog to sit still and trim its nails, but I am happy to use it after her next grooming (they use scissors, sometimes she comes home with sharp claws, so this will help smooth them a bit so she won't scratch me). The workmanship is excellent, and I like the digital display of how much battery is left (I often forget to charge things, so if I pass by and the battery runs low, I plug it in).

    Why did I wait so long to buy a nail grinder? For 25 years, I have been using manual scissors to cut my dog's nails, which often cause animal stress and (sometimes) nail bleeding. This product has changed the game rules! Yes, this involves some sounds, but not too loud to put pressure on my animals. We have 5 dogs and 2 rabbits using these scissors, and except for one animal, all of my animals are absolutely fine (the other animal always has to go to the veterinarian for scissors). The grinding is smooth and does not require a long time to complete. The claws we ultimately obtained were not super sharp from the rough edges after being cut. I'm glad I purchased the JYSW dog nail grinder!

    I have two cats, and I think most people would buy this product for dogs. My pet's nails are very sharp. Usually, I try to use a nail clipper to cut my nails, which can be very scary for small animals. Instead of cutting nails, I think grinding nails may be a worthwhile option. My cat seems to be less afraid of this product than a manual nail clipper< The product packaging is neat and easy to operate. There is a neat gauge on the device that displays the remaining battery life. Pet nail grinding should not be harmful or intimidating to your pet. I strongly recommend this product to your furry friend.

    Firstly, it is very stylish and handheld, making it easy to grip and manipulate when trying to keep your dog still. I have a 3-month-old puppy that keeps jumping up and grabbing me, and it works. It only took me about 15 minutes to quickly file her nails to normal, non lethal levels. The sound is not loud, so I can concentrate on eating snacks while making her paws. The gravel is not very natural, so it does take a second to grind, but I guess it's for the safety of the puppy.

It didn't do anything< Every time you press a nail to grind, the grinder stops. This is a complete waste of money. That was a few years ago< When I need to finish my dog nails, I will drive to the beautician's business premises. My dog cried and panicked. Also, when I try to pick them up and take them to trim my nails, please try to leave as much as possible. Both dogs take 5 minutes. After the nails are cut, they will rupture, split, and cut short to the point of bleeding. Perhaps the nail clippers are not sharp enough to cause cracks. It doesn't matter where I take my dog to get my nails done. Always the same reaction< To be frank, I don't like my child to be frightened. Moreover, cutting nails too short to the point of bleeding can harm them< Therefore, I have decided to study the grinder again and see if there are anything else besides the sandpaper tray. Also, I would like a positive review. I rely on reviews for most products< I have encountered this JYSW nail grinder. It has a diamond file, which is the best you can get< I have read the comments and enjoy the content I have read. Also, I like it as a quiet unit. So I ordered this grinder< My only drawback is transportation. It took 8 days to deliver. I see now, if I buy one today, I can buy it tomorrow. So I don't know why it took so long to be in stock. But I am very satisfied with this product< After opening it, I inserted it and fully charged it. I first used it on my girl dog, and then I plan to introduce the grinder. I think I will make a nail and try again the next day. Okay, I had a manicure and she was very relaxed and didn't disturb her at all. The noise is very quiet. Not loud. The vibration generated by friction did not startle her< I have completed all of her nails and she has always been relaxed< Then it's time to nail my boy dog< He is also very relaxed, allowing me to complete all his nails. I would say he pulled a little on a few of his nails. Perhaps it tickles, or maybe it's just not used to a few toenails. But a very good child, let me complete it< I am very grateful that I have found this unit. I need to do something to alleviate my dog's anxiety and shorten their nails< This grinder is very quiet. The speed of grinding dog nails is very fast, thanks to the diamond grinder. Easy to use and charge. I plugged it into my phone charger. There is a good lid that can protect the grinder when not in use. Perfect for your hands. Cut quickly to make your dog's nails beautiful and smooth. You must smooth the edges, but it's easy to do it with a protective device, or if you don't need it, it can be removed< I strongly recommend this grinder for anyone who has a beloved pet.     My dog hates cutting nails, so I decided to try this nail grinder. I'm glad I bought this product. At first, he was a bit scared due to noise/vibration, but I could tell he didn't feel any pain at all. The sound of vibration is quieter than other products I have tried, definitely better than cutting nails and hearing loud popping sounds. Absolutely a life-saving straw!

They provided a full refund and allowed me to keep the product - I gave it to a friend who keeps a puppy. 5 stars, providing excellent customer support. Similarly, the device feels well crafted and quiet, but the accompanying drill bit is not rough enough to effectively break down my dog's thick nails< The device itself appears to be well crafted and quiet. However, the accompanying file hardly left any marks on the nails of my German Shepherd. It does grind them, but it takes a long time to significantly reduce them. For small dogs with soft nails, this may be better and definitely not suitable for large dogs. They need to include a rougher tip to polish off harder nails. It's too bad because I got it at a discounted price, but I don't want to spend more than 30 minutes filing my dog's nails.

It's too painful - enough to make his nails grow nearly 1/2 inch! I don't know what we will do, especially during the pandemic.     Received as a gift. If the $13 price tag is not fair enough and the uneven English in the product description does not give you further warning, then my experience with this product can help you avoid it< This product is very thin to grip, with a smooth and transparent (unguarded) plastic shell, and poor balance when held in the hand. Although it has two speeds, the nail guide is not wide enough for my large breed (Vizsla mix), and it emits very high pitch noise, which scares my dog even worse than our trusted Dremel tool. The grinding wheel is too fine in the abrasive, which may produce a poor high whining sound, and compared to my Dremel, it takes a long time to use thick nails< I insist on using our more reliable, non Chinese made Dremel tools. It is easier to find replacement heads, easy to insert, and there is no need to worry about manufacturing quality, which is reasonable compared to this cheap little money from communist China. You get what you pay for, buyers need to be careful.

    For many years, we have been using one of the grinders we saw on TV until I ordered this grinder and realized how bulky and noisy it was. This definitely makes nail trimming a more enjoyable experience. It is easy to grip, super quiet, and the grinding machine tip is done very well at a fast speed. It can also maintain charging well. I am able to trim the nails of my two large dogs and use them at a faster speed, as they consume almost 10% of their battery life. It's great to be able to charge it.

The advertisement says it's a diamond grinder, and the box says it's a diamond grinding wheel. I don't expect the sharpening stone to last many times, but what are your expectations at this price point

    A great grinder. The only way I can see someone having a problem is if you have a dud (I'm sure it happens occasionally), or if you don't know what you're doing. It does require some practice to truly master its tricks, but it is not difficult to use. My little dog hates cutting nails, but this thing is done very well. I can make them both good and short without worrying about quickly cutting them off< In fact, I first ordered this product over a year ago and it would be great if I kept using the same wheel. I asked my sister to borrow it, but it was lost, so I need to order another one!

    My dog has dark nails, and I am always afraid to trim her nails with regular scissors because I don't want to accidentally cut them with a sharp knife. She is also very nervous about traditional scissors. This is perfect for gently grinding nails, and I'm not worried about hurting her. At first, she was a bit scared, but I slowly made her adapt to them. Now when I use this grinder, she doesn't mind at all. I suggest using it outdoors as it may be a bit dusty and not necessarily the most pleasant odor.

    Two of the guards are not entirely suitable. When I started trimming my little dog, I realized that the guards didn't allow me to cut off my hair. I changed the protective device, but it actually won't snap into place. I gave up looking at my little dog like a squirrel. I continued to try shaving him gently without any guards. I did a great job because I have experience sorting through my previous dogs. Unfortunately, I have to purchase a new system.
