    Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I bought this collar. It will take about two days to start working. For our cats, they usually have 3-5 ticks and one or two fleas per day, which is the best solution. Before purchasing a collar, I thought its purpose was to kill ticks and fleas that bite our cat. On the contrary, the active ingredients (cypermethrin and imidacloprid) released by the collar can actually prevent ticks and fleas from even getting on cats. This is amazing. Before making the purchase, I also conducted some research in an attempt to understand the safety of our cat collars. Some cats have a slight risk of epileptic seizures, but my cat has always been fine. Because the collar works very well, I am worried that my cat (only about 10 pounds) may "overdose", so I actually sometimes take off the collar at night and leave it for a few days. Even after about 3 days of removing the collar, he still had no ticks or fleas on his body. If you do this, please wash your hands immediately with soap and water< I have two concerns about collars. Firstly, the safety of our cats and our ingredients. Every time we touch him, we try to wash our hands, but it's difficult. The second one is about the separation of the collar when the cat is stuck on something. When taken off and put back on, the collar is difficult to loosen. I'm not sure if the cat can pull itself apart when it's stuck. Although we haven't encountered this issue, it is still a problem< With the increase of ticks and related tick borne diseases in our region, this collar seems to be the best choice. I have read articles about how this product performs in Europe, so when I saw these collars launched in the United States, I saved enough money to buy three collars for my fur baby. The price is a bit high, but when you consider the fact that they can be used for up to eight months and determine the cost of Frontline/Advantage for three animals for eight months, these collars are very cost-effective< This product is very effective for my two indoor cats; I rarely see them scratching, but now that fleas are under control, my Chloe is no longer obsessed with grooming/biting/scratching herself. I live in the south, and since Hurricane Katrina, we have had super fleas here that are almost immune to all other forms of flea protection. Pest infestations are terrifying and severe. This year it started happening again (finding fleas on my bed), and I knew I had to do something. I purchased a cat collar about a month ago, and now my cat has no fleas, no flea dirt or insect eggs on its body, and no fleas jumping onto me when I come home from work< Please remember that this collar takes some time to eliminate flea infestations in your home. The real results will take about three weeks to show, as the flea eggs at home will continue to hatch for a period of time, and the collar must take care of them during hatching. Also, please note that when you put this collar on your cat, it will kill the fleas on its body and repel other fleas, which will stick to you a few days later. As far as I'm concerned, it got worse before I used this collar twice. But as long as you give it a few weeks, the fleas in the house will soon disappear. My cat has no response to this product, it's just that she hasn't scratched or groomed herself 24/7 due to fleas< This collar looks expensive, but it's definitely worth it.     After several months of futile struggle against fleas on our five cats, each of the top non prescription drugs, and finally the spray (our smallest reaction was very bad). Less than 24 hours after using collar, almost all the fleas had disappeared from their bodies, and everything I picked up from the surface was dead, almost dead! Our baby feels calm for the first time in weeks! The collar fits snugly, and the reflective panel provides a beautiful golden touch, adding safety to our inner/outer cats. On the other hand, they can avoid fancy canned packaging and lower prices, especially. Large quantities of cats like us. That's to say!! Collars have no odor, and we like the slow release of flea killing and deworming chemicals in them, so any of our boys will not receive excessive doses and any immediate reactions. In the coming weeks, we will closely monitor other people's reported skin irritations. Whether it's an eight month protection commitment or not, if these are just to eliminate our current intrusion and get us into this winter, they will be worth it.     This is the best product I have ever used, believe me, I have tried all flea and tick products. I am unwilling to purchase because I have 5 cats, which would cost a lot of money. I found to be the best product on the market. My cat is very allergic to fleas and has lumps all over its body. Within a month of using the collar, she was clean and has been doing so ever since. I used the recommended 8-month collar, took the collar, and left the cat without a collar for two months. I have replaced the collar now because it is flea season and everything is fine.     Last year, I used this flea collar for the first time and I was very satisfied with the result. I ordered it again. My Maxi boy doesn't have fleas on him. He is an old cat, and I always feel guilty when other things I have tried don't work. I don't have fleas at home either. Miraculously effective. The key is to wear it at the beginning of the season and wear it for the entire 8 months. In New England, you really don't have to worry about fleas in winter, but I would recommend this collar.     We have been struggling with fleas from three indoor cats, mainly because our neighbor didn't take care of their dog outside. We tried everything in the sunshine, but to no avail, the fleas always came back. Due to the collars we installed on our animals, they not only had no fleas, but also for the first time in three summers, the house was completely free of fleas. I really want to know if it can be used for 8 months like advertised, but so far, this collar is very worth paying a considerable price for. I gave it 3 likes, 10 out of 10, and the best variety rating! I am very happy and strongly recommend it. No matter what Bayer puts on this collar, it can create miracles.

    I can only say wow! I have a Cocker Spaniel and a Bengal Hound who have been fighting against terrible flea infections for three years. Frontline, Advantage, Advantix Flea comb twice a day, countless flea baths - nada. I will kill all fleas on the two animals that were bathed by Dawn, and then they will be covered again within an hour. Wash four clothes every day. Use my Rainbow to vacuum the entire house twice a day (every pet owner should have one) and dump hundreds of dead fleas into each water tank. I even took them off from myself. I encountered these collars on and bought one for each animal. There were no adverse reactions. None of them noticed that they were wearing them. Within 3 days, I noticed a significant decrease in fleas during the grooming period, and the fleas in the vacuum tank also decreased. I almost cancelled the yard treatment I ordered, but just in case, I decided to continue. By this weekend, it's not just a flea. Two very happy little animals, now they just fight each other - and love it: -) My gasoline and electricity bills are lower, and my life is back. It's worth every penny I spend. I will never use anything else.

    I bought three collars like this. One for my cat and two for my little dog (I bought dog versions for them). Before using these collars, I had a significant flea problem on my hands, which was resolved after about a week. I haven't seen any fleas in months! I will definitely purchase these again. I have tried many methods to control fleas (sprays, shampoos, other collars, drops, combs, etc.) before. They don't work well, fleas just keep reproducing. The collar prevents them from dying on their tracks. They are expensive, but worth every penny.

    Three weeks later, our flea rate was about 99%. No one is scratching. I bought collars for 3 dogs and 2 cats, which is not cheap, but if they can be used for a full eight months, it's very cost-effective. Just had our Weima sterilized by the veterinarian, and they couldn't find any fleas on him. Our shihtzu is highly allergic to fleas, to the point where he has hives, but he currently does not have fleas (and allergies). In my country/region, flea season is year-round. It is now August - the peak season for flea infections. I can't find any fleas on our fur baby< These collars should be able to work for 8 months (or 5 months if they bathe more than once a month). It will be updated in 8 months to let you know if this is true< Update: It has been about 8 weeks now. No fleas! Even after traveling to the dog park or hiking in the jungle, there are no fleas! Our two cats are indoors/outdoors and they don't have fleas either. Some reviewers have reported skin reactions - we haven't seen this reaction in our 5 furry children yet. Since we put the collar on him for about a week, our Shihtzu has not had any hives - no flea bite reactions! These collars are more effective than any external product we have tried. So far it's pretty good< Second update at 8 months: We have just ordered 5 or more collars for 3 dogs and 2 cats. They did a great job, keeping everyone free of fleas. Even Shihtzu, who is allergic to everything, has not experienced hives for the first time in several months in many years. Flea season is a year-round season. I haven't seen fleas on my pet for several months, and another benefit is that there are no fleas on the furniture or floor. So one day, she gave me a 'gift' with six babies inside, all female< I bought my collar over a year ago, and everyone else has it except for two. They worked very well, and now I have purchased more. It's great not to worry about fleas anymore. (It seems that none of them need collars.) Only the mother, the big cat, and one of the kittens are fixed. The kitten I fixed won't come close to me (she knows), which makes me very sad. So only my two cats went out, and the fleas hid in the grass waiting for their prey< Apologies to those who did not work for them, as it is much cheaper and easier than dripping these potions behind their necks. Of course, I believe my veterinarian would not recommend them because he has less money in his pocket. At first, I was very nervous, but now I know this is the best thing I can do.     This collar is expensive, but it's worth it. I live in Connecticut and have witnessed firsthand the flea and tick problem in my backyard, which is surrounded by uncut forests. It is filled with wild animals, hence ticks and fleas. Every year at the end of July, our two cats will be in great pain, which lasts until November. This is not a joke, not only because they feel uncomfortable, but also because they brought these small animals into the house. Keeping the house free of fleas is a continuous hardship, not to mention the fear of Lyme disease< Other flea collars are useless, and shampoo can only be used for one day. Anyway, whoever wants to give the cat a bath, I can't use any apps sandwiched between their shoulders because the two cats help each other by licking each other's necks< So in despair, I decided to try this collar. I saw some good and bad reviews, but I thought, hey, if it works, it will become a lifeguard. It is! We have already passed more than half of what should have been a 'terrible flea and tick year', and I haven't seen a single flea or tick in a cat or house yet. When we were outside, I was surprised to see fleas jumping onto my snow-white cat (Snoflake) and immediately jumping off. Because there were too many issues in our region, I did replace them during the mid season (May to August, then August to November)< Important note: I have seen people complaining about sores on their cats' necks. When I opened these collars, I saw that there were about 3 or 4 small rubber hooks left inside (directly against the side of the cat's neck) when you took the collars out of their pre formed shape. I'm sure these are uncomfortable for the cat's neck, I can see how they rub against each other and cause open wounds. I cut them off, but they still left jagged spots, so I then filed off the remaining part with a nail file until it was completely smooth. We don't have any issues with neck ulcers< Another note: If your kitten never wears any type of collar, you may need to put on some kind of non flea collar first... so that they eliminate all the aggression of the kitten built into the collar that does not contain chemicals.     I have two cats. They are brothers/sisters. Big brother is a normal sized cat, while his little sister is very small and petite. When you put them together, they still look like a kitten. Since they were born last year, I have encountered flea problems, and the drops are only effective for one week. I have used everything from Frontline to Advantix II, and I myself was bitten by fleas!! Despite the terrible reviews, I have decided to buy this collar and I must tell you that it has already solved the problem. The next day, the fleas on the cat disappeared. They were still hovering nearby, but a month later I proudly said I had a home without fleas. I also bought one for my dog and am concerned about the skin issues I saw in the comments because I asked a beautician to shave him. After using it for a month, the skin is completely fine.

    I will tell you what information you should know about this product. This collar killed all the fleas of my two cats and puppy overnight. Because there are too many fleas in my house, I will notice one or two fleas on the animals, but they are all dying. They move very slowly and are easy to spot. By the next day, there were no fleas on my dog, and my cat didn't find any fleas when using a flea comb. One thing you must know - this project has some negative reviews because some people have found that their animals are sensitive to collars and have adverse reactions to them. Let me reassure you. Your cat is more likely not to have this reaction, but when you use this collar, you must closely monitor them every day. If there are negative reactions, simply remove the collar, give your animal a bath with mild shampoo, and then rinse with plenty of water, as stated in the instructions. This is also what other resources have said and what various veterinarians have confirmed for me (I conducted extensive research on these collars before purchasing). However, my cat did not experience any adverse reactions, and this is their 5th day wearing the collar. If you want to get rid of fleas on your pet, this product will definitely work, and there is no reason not to at least give it a try. If you read more comments, some people may say that they only used collars on one of their animals and that all of their pets no longer have fleas. I am very satisfied with this solution, my animals look happy, and I feel like I can really catch them again. This product is definitely useful to me, I recommend it!

    It is definitely my best purchase of the year. Sophie Ann (my little princess) wore this outfit all summer and there weren't any fleas at home. Last summer, I spent hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of fleas on my little angel, bombed my house, and washed the carpet three times. I tried four different topical medications, including Frontline, bedding, and flea dirt on my fur, but the poor baby kept scratching. Not to mention, the oil stains on her fur were a mess for two days. (I've always been worried that she might lick it and die!!) We spent the hottest summer in nearly 20 years in the southwest of Washington this year, and Sophie Ann is an indoor/outdoor cat with no fleas at all. I'm glad I took the opportunity to try this collar. I am very unwilling to try a super expensive flea collar, but I have decided to give it a try because it has the same active ingredients as Advantage II (at a higher price). I'm glad I did it. And my happy little princess!!

    Both of our cats have these, I would like to wait a few months before writing a comment. These are very useful for us. We regularly use flea combs to comb babies' fur, so we can know if they have fleas on their bodies. The cat wearing the collar has not had fleas for 5 months. The others are not flea free. I have been using Revolution, but it seems to have stopped working on our six cats. We have a cat who refuses to wear a collar, so he cannot wear a collar, and he still has fleas, but since other cats have put on collars, fleas have significantly decreased. I know these are expensive, but if you add up 8 months of Didi, or even cheap collars for a few cats, then the product is actually effective and completely worth the initial cost. These tasks are as advertised. They won't fall off. We have a cat that always manages to lose its collar (along with the $10 tag) within a few weeks after putting it on - the collar doesn't come off. It is suitable for a fat cat. It is suitable for thin cats* Make sure to check them regularly (especially if wearing a still growing kitten). One is a bit tight, I need to loosen it. I think our cat scratched and tightened its collar in the right place*< It's completely worth it. In the first few weeks, they smelled a bit smelly, and then it became less noticeable. We even put a label and bell - so far it's great. We really like this product.

What's crazy is that it has no effect on these damn fleas. Especially where I live, trying one product after another last summer and keeping my veterinarian running was a nightmare! The veterinarian suggested these. But when he saw the reaction, all three animals got it. He definitely didn't mention it to me again (I can't speak for anyone else. But for me, that's what he said)

Even if our cats stay indoors (except for occasional brief escapes), fleas are still so abundant that they can be infected in the summer. These collars are expensive but very effective. It's much easier than giving them a flea bath - they're warriors!

Our other cat is not responding, the collar is doing its job. Pets are all different and will have different reactions!     Update in February 2020: Only four months later, fleas were once again found on cats. Reduce my rating to 3/5< Update: The collar has been worn for a month now. There is no skin reaction on the cat, and there are no fleas anywhere. All the stars belong to this product< If possible, I would give this over five stars. We have four cats, two of which have very long fur. We have been fighting against the absolute infestation of fleas. We have tried many products - Advantage FrontlineFrontline Gold Spray the house with different products, even give each cat a bath, desperately trying to get rid of these annoying pests. If I continue to wash, my blanket and bedding will fall apart. Finally, I found these collars. Only five days - five days! This difference is simply a miracle. The cat has stopped scratching. When we examined them, there were no fleas on their abdomen and neck. And they won't leave a pile of fleas and flea gravel where they lie. When everything else fails, these things are really effective!

If you see the development of sores or notice your pet scratching on the collar, please remove it< I have been wearing collars on my cat for almost two months. This issue may have been exacerbated by the previous "hotspot" of flea allergies, but by week 5 or 6, it is clear that the sores are continuing from the collar itself. I do believe that wearing clothes for the first month can get rid of the remaining fleas that we cannot kill with Advantage, because the fleas we live in are almost immune to everything! Therefore, it may be worth giving it a try, but please remember that many pets are allergic to this product.

We brought him in and were informed that he may have had seizures or a stroke. We started researching the products we used on him and found that these collars use neurotoxins to kill bugs, and are known to cause neurological problems in pets, such as seizures< It is unbelievable that these people are at large. We don't know if this is permanent and feel guilty for not doing more research< Do not do this to your pet and let pet owners know.

The only complaint is that in the past 2 times, my cat has experienced fleas during approximately 6 1/2-7 months of use. It's still very cost-effective, but it definitely won't last for a full 8 months.

    I bought one for my indoor cat in early February. Although he is not allowed to go out, I cannot stop mice from coming in from time to time. Therefore, if he catches a mouse, there is a rare flea problem that needs to be addressed. My brother-in-law's recommendation for fleas is not strong enough. During the flea infestation, he bought two for his indoor/outdoor cat and said the fleas disappeared within two days. They kept driving his wife and grandson crazy until he got these collars. My main problem is ticks because I live in high-risk areas all year round. I hope it lives up to expectations in terms of ticking sound, because mice can also carry them.

    I once fell in love with it. Automated delivery has been around for some time now. However, both recent batches have been ineffective. My cat and I were both eaten alive by fleas. Not sure if the formula has been changed or what has happened. I'm disappointed.

    I think has problems selling counterfeit products, so I am learning to purchase important items such as pets and facial products elsewhere< I have a 2-pound Chihuahua, and it seems that this collar cannot effectively prevent fleas from entering. When it looked most effective, I got it from Chew and my veterinarian. When it's a real brand, I generally like it. I even started letting fleas move onto me and used disinfectant UV lamps in the room, food grade diatomaceous earth placed on the dog and house, washed him with flea shampoo, cleaned the carpet, etc. I think he wears a collar, and if it can alleviate the flea's effects, this shouldn't happen. He shouldn't occasionally bite himself.

    I have two cats with fleas that are difficult to treat, so I decided to suck them up and spent a lot of money on these collars. We only have a few weeks, so I cannot say longevity. They are definitely better than other products I have tried, so that's the benefit. Fleas gradually disappear within about a week< My cat did have a bad reaction to it - about two weeks later, his neck started to give birth - which seemed to be a combination of stimulation and his scratching of it. It's not as bad as some of the photos here. He has worn collars in the past (with or without medication) and has not been disturbed by them, so I think this is something from this product. He also became a bit withdrawn and drowsy. After removing the collar, he returned to normal in less than two days. Unfortunately, among my two cats, he is the one with the most severe flea infestation. The collar of the other cat is completely fine. I still give this four stars because it is the most effective product I have ever tried, and anything containing medication can potentially cause side effects.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it won't last for 8 months. I purchased this product in January. When I am writing this article, it is already June. Yesterday our little cat was at the veterinarian's place, and the veterinarian noticed that she had some fleas on her body. So, I need to reorder, but we should really be able to get through the entire summer without buying a new collar.

Then we decided that they didn't actually last the entire 8 months, and it's best to replace them every 5 months. But since using these collars, we may have to spray our house 2 to 3 times to treat fleas, which is quite a hassle. We have been trying these collars continuously, although obviously they have stopped working together. In the past, our pets had fleas on their bodies and in our houses. After our pets wore them for about 2 or 3 months, I asked what was the point of buying expensive flea collars that should be durable and long-lasting? I found bites all over my daughter's body, even frequently on my baby. When we buy expensive products to control fleas, it makes me very angry< So, don't buy SORESTO collars. I don't know if they have changed some ingredient, or if fleas have developed immunity to the active ingredient. But the collars didn't work as they should. Animals still have fleas. They must be bathed every week. I'm not happy at all because I spent $400.00 to have all my pets wear these collars.

    So, this product really worked. Cats don't have fleas However, this comes at a cost. After putting on the collar for about 2-3 weeks, my cat placed itself on my desk and looked away from me, noticing a part of its fur. When I saw it, the entire right neck from his spine to his throat was primitive. All the hair has fallen out, and the skin is moist and damaged. Different cats have different reactions to various flea treatments, so I can prove that this is not for him, it is because I did not take him to see a veterinarian and find the best treatment method. However, I immediately threw my collar out. About 2 weeks later, the bald patch scabbed and bled, but it has now healed.

    I think the collar works very well on one of my cats He is an outdoor cat, and before I put on this collar, I used to release ticks from him every day - he didn't seem to have any adverse reactions< However, my indoor cat is another matter. After about 3 weeks, everything was fine, and then she stopped eating except for a few bites here and there. This morning, she tried to eat twice - both times she spat out the bite she managed to eat within a few minutes. I did some quick research because I haven't heard of the side effects of vomiting, but many pet owners have described their troubles with this collar. They also mentioned diarrhea, so I went to check the cat box and sure enough So the collar immediately fell off her body, and I actually gave her a bath and cleaned her neck very well (I had never bathed a cat before and was afraid to do so, but she seemed to really like it) Then, as she wiped herself dry, I combed her hair and pulled out a lot of hair. I believe I can do it in time, she will be fine< As for my outdoor cat, I don't know what to do I don't know if he's vomiting, I'll never know if he's having diarrhea, but so far he looks normal. My inclination is to also get rid of this collar for him, but I will have to wait until I have something to replace it said it will be Sunday< Overall, I want to say that if you want to try this, it does work very well But pay attention to the condition of your pets. In less than three days, all the fleas died, and my cat breathed a sigh of relief. The collar won't irritate her skin, and she hasn't adapted to it like she used to with other flea collars in the past. However, it is not worth it because it is not very durable. When my cat enters catnip and plays, it will burst. We have had to fix the collar with gorilla glue about 4 times, and we only have a little over a month now.

    Based on my experience, this collar cannot kill all the fleas on my cat's body, but once the fleas are under control, it will function well. I hate it when you have to wear a collar all year round because it's expensive. I also don't believe that the manufacturer's claim of comprehensive protection will last for a full 8 months< However, my veterinarian recommended it, so this is what I use and it works well in most cases< Additional note about ticks: As far as I know, in the northeastern United States, the main feeding time for ticks is from May to June, and then they are fed again in early autumn, so I always make sure my cat has a "new" collar during these times and/or I carefully inspect her when she enters the house.

    My pet always seems to know when I need to apply any flea products. They all hit me, including my dog and cat. I never understood how they knew, nor did I understand why they were all struggling with these products. When I pop open external items placed between my shoulders or blister packs containing pills, they will hide. It's confusing how they knew and why they were afraid, I don't know. After using the product, I don't seem to have any problems< I don't expect to put this collar on her. I have never put a collar on her before, and this is not something she is familiar with. I was completely abandoned, she didn't hide or fight me, she put it on her. She calmly asked me to hang it around her neck, tighten or secure it. thank goodness! It worked! Her allergic reaction to fleas has subsided, and now she has no pests< I don't like how expensive these are, that's my biggest complaint. I don't care about using synthetic chemicals, but I have to get rid of fleas.     I am really looking forward to getting rid of the greasy mess of monthly treatments with my cat. He is not used to wearing collars, which may also have had a negative impact. After 1 1/2 weeks, the hair around his collar fell off and his skin began to crack. He feels itchy wearing a collar, but he hopes I can scratch him more around the collar. Due to the previous comments and photos I have seen, I am checking them every day. I think this may be a great product, but it's not suitable for my cat. Perhaps the design can be improved by removing the protrusions/ridges inside the collar area and making it smooth.

This is all the content needed to start the intrusion. So here, I vacuum my house 24/7 and use essential oils as if they could save my sanity. Okay, I got this collar on Monday afternoon and put it on my cat on Monday night. It's Wednesday morning now, and I found dead (or almost dead) fleas where my cat was. I hope and pray that this collar really works as it says, and soon they will all die, or help me, and I may be accused of burns< Update: Its running speed is much slower than advertised, or we must have some FBI attacks on fleas or other things. After wearing it on her for a week, she still had a lot of fleas on her body. We have received it for 2 weeks now. About 4 days ago, I gave my cat a bath and just checked her. I didn't see any fleas on her body, but she was also very shaky, so who knows if she still has a pair or eggs on her body. I still saw her scratching, but it may be due to fleas and the dry skin caused by the bath. However, there are still fleas gnawing on us at home, so I believe collars are useful for cats, but there are still fleas in our house. Another week has passed, and the two cats are still scratching. I will give it another week before I write it down and try another brand of collar.     I was surprised when I first purchased this collar for dogs and cats 5 years ago. During Covid, I switched to local medication prescribed by a veterinarian. Recently, I have decided to switch back because the cat is already 11 years old and sometimes her dripping water seems a bit rough in the first 24 hours. Before I saw a sharp decrease in scratching and biting for three months. Now it may be the top of a month.     My cat is an indoor cat, and I don't know why it grows fleas, so I got this because my veterinarian recommended it. The price is expensive, but anything is good for my fur baby. I used it according to the instructions and made sure it wasn't too tight or too loose. After 2 days, the hair around my cat's collar fell off and the skin was burned. I started to notice that he was feeling too uncomfortable, grabbing too much around his neck, so I checked him and to my surprise, I found that the burnt neck was like a chemical burn. I immediately took off my collar, and he stopped scratching. I feel very sad and guilty, I don't know if I have to take him to see a veterinarian. Today is Saturday night, which is also Labor Day weekend, so I don't think I can find the nearest clinic to me, and I have to work on Sundays and Mondays. I covered the wound with a headscarf to prevent it from getting bigger< I don't know if the product is damaged (I haven't seen any issues with it) or simply put, my cat is allergic and doesn't react well to chemicals. The collar does not have a strong odor, in fact, there is no odor at all. I am writing this article only to warn consumers and advise them to closely monitor their pets in the first few hours. If you see them feeling uncomfortable and scratching, please stop using them< My cat is a stray cat, 1 year old. I don't have any pests, there are fleas everywhere, and I can't explain how he got them because he never goes out and never leaves. He's my only pet, so there's nothing I can do except bring fleas home!! The product looks great and the packaging is exquisite, but it didn't kill fleas within 3 days and even burned my cat's skin. At least to say, I feel very frustrated.

    When I put the collar on him, it burned his skin and there were collars all over his neck. They left, but they burned him in the first week< Then a week and a half later, when I still saw fleas moving on him, I wasn't happy. It killed a lot, don't misunderstand me, dead fleas are everywhere in my blanket. When I went to see the veterinarian, she said the collar couldn't work 100%, so we applied stronger ointment to him< I have made this collar before, and it worked very well without any side effects. It used to be a 5-star rating. But now, there aren't that many< I am currently using ointment to keep the collar in place because it stopped burning him and it still works, but for $70, I hope it will be safer and more effective:/

However, my cat is not used to wearing collars, so after only 8 days of use, he licked himself too close and stuck it on his chin and teeth, panicking and causing severe bleeding from his gums. I had to fix it down and cut it off to prevent further injury, as it wouldn't reach their heads. If your cat is not used to wearing collars, be careful! Perhaps let them adapt to it with separation first, and then put on this.

So much so that only my indoor cat (and house) were infected. I have treated all cats, but only and I have been outdoors, and so far I am not happy. For the price and reviews, I think it would be better, but I think I will stick with Advantage.

It may be related to her skin, or she may be allergic to fleas, or something similar, but not the collar. She doesn't itch as much anymore, but it still exists. I spent $60 on a flea collar, which was terrible, but it didn't improve much. Just not sure what the problem is. Therefore, before you purchase a more expensive flea collar, be sure to check your pet's skin or take note of what they eat and their surroundings to see if it may be an allergy or illness, they may just be trying to save some money:)

    This collar almost immediately took effect. Our cat may have scratched us once after we put it on. When he was wearing it, there was no flea problem at all. There is a major issue!! About three days later, our cat's behavior completely changed. He became distant, and the worst thing was that he attacked my girlfriend from somewhere and tore her arm badly. The next day, he did the same thing to me. I don't know if this seriously angered him or something, but I know we took it down and by the next day, he had returned to normal without any problems since then.

Our dog is the only one who goes out, but in order to absolutely ensure that nothing enters the cat, we believe that safety is better than regret. Last night, I put collars on the animals according to the instructions (we have used these before). Tonight, our female seal pointed cat was able to trap her chin under the collar while wearing it, even though it was tight, because we felt comfortable wearing it on her. She panicked and grabbed my wife fiercely, then flew to the basement. I can hold a pair of scissors behind her neck and cut off her collar. I can only say that it was a good thing for us to be at home when this happened. Although it was in her mouth, the strength of her chin and neck combined with her teeth, the collar did not break and had to be cut off. I immediately took off all the cat collars and will return them tomorrow. As I said, we have used it in the past But our two cats are beginners in collars and they need better fault safes.

Especially compared to Frontline and other companies. Actually, we purchased Frontline from Petco earlier this year for basically $250. They didn't do anything.     To make a long story short: I have been using it for many years, and suddenly it no longer works, which makes me feel like they may change the formula or other buyers may say the same thing. Unfortunately, I won't buy it again< I feel very sad about this. I have been buying this collar for about 3 years, it is a godsend. I bought a new collar in October 2023, but noticed fleas in December (I'm in Houston and it's always hot). I think maybe this is just a stroke of luck. I bought two more in January 2024 and still found fleas on my cat, although there were no fleas on the dog (they have the same collar but are suitable for dogs), and there were no fleas in my home/environment. I am really disappointed because I can't stop praising it. I have 5 animals, 3 of which have been going out, and it wasn't until the past few months that flea problems have arisen, and the situation has become very bad. If the formula returns to its original state, I will update this comment, but as of now, this collar is invalid.

    We have recently implemented cat protection in our backyard, allowing our indoor cats to enjoy outdoor activities. He enjoys hunting lizards and watching birds. But later we noticed scratching, now it's fleas! So we tried this collar because Advantage didn't seem to work. Remove all his bedding, bag it (2 weeks), and wash it with hot water. He has been wearing a collar for over a month now, and although I did brush off a few dead fleas initially, his scratching decreased - I still found one alive - after 10 days. So I really doubt the 8-month statement. Fortunately; As pointed out by other comments, there was no irritation on his neck. We will have to try other expensive and short-lived repair methods.

Last week, I was bitten on the foot by a small flea! It's very frustrating because in the next few days, I'm really going to have a baby. I have always been afraid of fleas!! Well, my cat sometimes runs outside. A few weeks ago, he did it! I know this is the source of fleas. So now the cat itches, my dog itches, and I got bitten. They both have collars that are less than 3 months old. The collars should be able to be used for 8 months< If this product only wants to last for one or two months, cut costs. This is ridiculous.

    Our cat was wearing this, and at first it was great (all the fleas disappeared). But later we began to notice hair loss and some redness around the collar. We suspect that it may have been scratching all along, but the hair loss has worsened. Suddenly, we realize there are two large spikes/burn marks, now bleeding and causing a lot of pain to our cat. It begins to meow aggressively (it has never done this before). We have cut off the collar and now we must go to the veterinarian for treatment. On the seller's website, we noticed a strange disclaimer emphasizing that they did not recall this product, as if there were reasons to do so. This sounds strange, and afterwards we discovered multiple articles from people who had similar chemical burn reactions to collars (and others). So... You may wish to avoid using this product and use topical solutions or consult your veterinarian.

    Let me first say that flea collars are definitely effective. Our old cat is a stray cat, so she still likes to go out and has fleas. This killed the flea. I bought one of them from a large pet store, it must be expensive, but I think it's worth it. A few days later, our cat became disinterested in food, which was quite strange. She is a small and skinny cat, but she often eats, so I am very worried. After another day or two, she began to lose balance while walking in bed, almost as if she was drunk. I didn't want to panic, but I cut off the flea collar (the only thing that changed) and planned to take her to the veterinarian if she didn't improve the next day. The next day, she returned to normal, and after removing the flea collar, her appetite resumed in the following days. It's like everything in this collar is beyond her system - thank goodness - and there's no lasting problem< I'm sure the vast majority of cats will metabolize anything in this collar without any problem, but I will definitely closely monitor your animal after wearing this collar. So far, our cat is still doing well and has a good appetite, no longer having balance issues.

Even with a collar on, my cat still has fleas. Besides spending money now, I also spend money to get rid of fleas on my house. I have flea bombings every week, and when I sit watching TV with my cat sitting next to me, I still have fleas jumping around me. This collar definitely won't work, he bit his leg and scratched his ear. So what's next? I need an effective collar. Should I buy another brand? I hope to provide some feedback on this issue.

She was about to hit the nail on the head when she pulled out her fur and became bald! She feels very painful about these things, and I feel terrible. I can't do anything about it.     I purchased 2 real collars with orange cat on the packaging. Then, I purchased one of the collars with a brown cat on the packaging. A container with brown striped cats has a line in the last letter of the word '', which is how you determine if it is fake. I put two real collars on my two cats, they are very good. I put a fake collar on my third cat, and soon he started vomiting, unable to control anything. Afterwards, I realized that the collar was the only new and different thing introduced to him. I immediately took it off and noticed that it burned my cat's neck! That night, he began to feel much better. He can eat and drink again without any problems. So please be careful! The genuine collar with orange on the packaging has never caused any problems for any of my dogs or cats. Please be wary of these counterfeit collars sold here. I would give more stars to real Collars, but these are not real Collars.

    I have been buying flea and tick collars for many years now, and apart from praising their quality and lifespan compared to other things I have bought, I have never done anything else. The cost of the first year scared me a bit, but as I kept observing the continued excellence of their working methods month after month, I had made up my mind and was promoted to the fact that I would purchase these every year from then on. I didn't hesitate to consider it. I always buy one for my dog and another for my cat. I really don't like putting any form of collar on my cat because I'm worried they might hang it on a tree or something else. However, in the first year, not only did I buy myself, but everyone I knew also had flea infestations. No matter what I did, I seemed unable to eliminate this situation until I ordered one for my dog and one for my cat. This not only killed every biting pest on their bodies, but also began to alleviate housing problems, feeling like constantly vacuuming. I truly believe in the use of collars. But this year, I feel very disappointed. I have to buy one this year because I unfortunately lost my dog, but my cat is still healthy and continues to live. Both of my animals are/have been internal/external animals. The collar he wore last year still works better than the new collar I recently replaced. This new collar was a failure, it made me the least happy about my cat, followed by the humans at home, and it cost me about $60. Every day, I was pulling out the annoying ticks from my kitten. Ticks carry diseases that can be transmitted to humans. They can be very dangerous for humans and make them sick for the rest of their lives. Ticks can also cause cats to suffer from a disease that is very expensive to treat, and most of the time they will kill them. I don't know if I happened to get a bad collar, but I think you should give me another one and let me see if I just got a bad one, or if just gave up on their quality. I pray that you can give me another chance, and I thank you for listening to my deep concerns.

I don't want to see others lose their pets. This is sad because veterinarians are redefining these collars. I'm sure someone has used these collars on pets, but why take the risk? Every pet is different. 1700 pet deaths are related to this collar. I am very angry with myself because I didn't put two and two together like many other pet owners until it was too late. Before using any flea or tick products on pets, please conduct research.

She has been scratching her neck, trying to remove the collar because she is an indoor cat and has never worn a collar or flea collar, as she had no fleas before this summer. I can't believe how effective it is. Even at $67.00, it's more worth it than the cheaper ones. I tried a cheap flea collar, which caused her to develop a rash and smelled very fragrant< Furthermore, this lasted for eight months, so the price is really worth it.

My dog is very sensitive to flea bites. However, it seems to slow down the suction cups, making it easier to pick them off the jacket.

Since using these collars, my indoor/outdoor cat has not only never had ticks or fleas, but she is also much happier about it than the liquid poison we used to put on her back.
