It blows out a bit of cool air, and the cubs seem to enjoy it very much. Must it be calming them down? Very easy to clean. You will use all attachments. My old dog was afraid of every noise he actually came over and saw, so he started with his brush. The hair you see is only 2 minutes long. No chaos, no fuss, very low noise, no vibration at all. Clean and tighten the pop-up trash hair. Comes with a small bag that can store many different accessories.
