    This device may be suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, or other small areas that are prone to moisture. I won't rely on it to dehumidify larger basements or other large areas because it's not capable of handling this task. I cannot test it correctly in very humid environments, but in Colorado, it does not absorb too much moisture from the air on most days. When we move to Illinois soon, I will be able to test it more accurately.

    We have another small humidifier next to this one, but it collects less than one-third of the water. The effect is very good!
