    I purchased SmartSHEILD to insulate the windows of my camper van for winter living. I gave it four stars, I don't know how it works at freezing temperatures. I cut it to fit and connect it to the window frame using self-adhesive Velcro strips. The material is very thin, so I can install it with the blinds in place. So far, we are happy to see when it falls below zero in January. Side note: I tested a portion of it in an open flame and found that the material shrinks/melts without using sources that are close to extreme.

I used this material above and below 8 large windows. I use the back door to add bird food to my bird feeder every day - so I ordered a 48 inch wide size and cut it into a certain size, then rolled it up or rolled off the door cover. The temperature drops below 38-59 degrees Celsius at night. Run a small heater for 1 hour and the temperature rises to 64 degrees. It can maintain a temperature for several hours. At that time, the sun will rise and maintain a temperature between 70-73 degrees throughout the day. My plants and I should be able to enjoy my enclosed porch all year round.

    I use this product to make an insulated privacy panel for my GX470. 48" x 10' The size is sufficient to accommodate all the side windows and rear windows. I chose this material instead of Reflectix because its thickness is only half of it, so when the panel is rolled up, it will be much smaller and look more beautiful. As an unexpected additional benefit, it is easy to use - you can slide over it with scissors instead of scissors, so the cutting speed is faster and the edges are smooth. I don't know if it's hard enough for a large and angled windshield to not sag over time, but I already have enough sunshades.

I have already invested approximately $5000 in repair costs and have decided to wait (due to recent global events) to purchase a new suitable refrigerator and find a more economical option through Chef Freezer Converter. This is where the product comes in handy. In short: it is effective and great< Advantages: Thin but dense. There is standard polyester film on both sides, which is good because some of them are actually single-sided (very strange), but real foam cores are used. The Lowe&# 39; s option uses foam packaging. Although only half as thick as the bubble wrap polyester film option, it has a better insulation grade due to its foam core< Given how thin it is, it means it is very easy to cut< Disadvantages: Although underage, it can be very annoying; The tape used is cheap glass paper tape, which will tear when torn off and is almost invisible. Solution; Thin masking tape< How I used it: I purchased a 7-foot refrigerator for $200, and a suitable refrigerator starts at $500. I live in Northern California, in an ancient Victorian style building with large windows and good ventilation. On cold nights, the temperature drops to 40 degrees, which is better than nothing, but disappointing, just like adding some extra thick curtains to a window< At higher temperatures, this is common on mild winter nights when the outside temperature is around 50 to 55 degrees, all windows are covered by it, blinds are closed, and there are some thinner curtains. Overall, I really like my sleeveless shorts indoors, which is great, but... But I bought this to ensure that I don't have to run my gas fireplace for long or frequently, which won't happen in my 400 square foot space when I need it on truly cold nights< I have a bus that also needs insulation, so I won't burden my solar system and won't need propane - if possible, for off grid living. We will see if this can be achieved, but at the same time, obtaining a thickness of 20 millimeters will be necessary in most vacant spaces or on my huge ventilation windows in apartments and buses< Therefore, the bottom line is that if you want comfort and save a lot of heating and cooling costs, choose thick springs and don't waste time messing around on 3 to 5 millimeters!

On the contrary, in my use case, I used white tape to fix it and the effect was very good< I wrapped my hydroponic 5-gallon bucket and 3-gallon square bucket with insulation material, both of which were very simple and took less than 3 hours to complete. This product is easy to handle, measure, and cut. The only installation issue I encountered was due to the shape of the bucket, which has nothing to do with the product< Although it is easy to cut, I recommend purchasing the size that best matches your use case, which is why I bought 16 inches.

      I initially bought a 25 foot long insulation material to make my own curtains for a semi truck. To make a long story short, I'm not on the road right now. There's a family carpentry shop in my garage. I use the remaining stuff to insulate a part of a two car garage door in Alabama, at least it can be said that it will become a bit toasted in the summer, haha. I still need to pick up another roll to complete it. It's the 90s outside now, and at this time of day, there's no direct sunlight on the door. There is a difference of over 8 degrees between the bare door and the back of this insulation material! I originally planned to put foam board on these things, but I don't think it is necessary. When I took photos with the infrared thermometer, the temperature in the garage was 82 degrees, which means that this insulation completely prevents the heat from the door from radiating into the garage space. Now around 3-4 pm, when it comes out 100 and has more time to heat up, the temperature difference will drop to around 4 degrees, but it's still worth it. Killer move, I want to order another roll!

The window is 40 "x80" and it fits and holds without the need for any adhesive. People with windows of different shapes should use 'alien tape', otherwise I've heard suction cups or tape will suffice. I bought a blackout curtain and shield, I don't need it. The shield has blocked enough. This is already good enough. I've told a few people how great it is.

So I bought insulated curtains to replace them. Therefore, for the backup insulation material, I checked if it is suitable for my garage panel. On a standard garage, the width is approximately 48 inches. So I just need to measure vertically and then horizontally< If I had planned a time, I would have only ordered one large roll and saved some money; I still need to order another roll to complete my garage panel. If you choose a width of 48, it does save me measurement time.

    This thing is amazing. I have a 43 foot fifth wheel, and heating and cooling this thing is at best difficult. I bought an extra fan, even a floor standing air conditioner, but it didn't help much. In summer, when the outdoor temperature exceeds 100 degrees, I can hardly keep my temperature below 85 degrees. My air conditioner is set to 77 auto and runs non-stop all day long. I put these up and the next day, there is a big difference. The air conditioner can now be kept at 77 without running all day. I read another review on how to use heavy-duty double-sided tape Velcro for fixation, and the effect was very good. I even installed it on the skylight above the bathroom shower. It doesn't look pretty, but it's definitely worth it!

    I easily cut off this material with a pair of ordinary scissors. I am able to sew three thicknesses with the Janome DC 2015 machine, which is a decent but not fancy sewing machine. I also like the stiffness of this material. For our old Jeep, we were able to stand up the material behind the windshield and secure it in place with a sun visor. Cutting windows into strange sizes is great. Additional comment - We have been using our insulation material as a sunshade for daily drivers. Due to frequent handling, it has become soft and worn out some reflective materials. It is still an excellent sunshade for our antique Jeep, but it doesn't work well when frequently handled.

    I bought this for several purposes. I cut some and then threaded a zipper tie through it to cover an electronic device that was exposed to sunlight all day. It reflects the sun and prevents water from directly hitting the electronic water timer. I also used a piece of ice on the door of the ice maker, which put ice inside the door and kept melting until it was enough to clog the dispenser. It has been very helpful. I'm sure I will have other uses.

Try using good blackout curtains, but you can feel the heat in the curtain material by walking past them. What's the difference between ordering 50 'rolls of this insulation and MAN! Like a charm that prevents 100% of the sun's heat from entering our home. If I need more, I will make another purchase. The used gorilla spray adhesive contacts the cement - spray two surfaces - garage panel and insulation material to be applied - wait a few minutes for them to set, then press the insulation material into the garage panel, and now they are permanently present. There is already a reflective windshield sunshade, which is cut into the shape of a car window using this reflective insulation material to block sunlight entering from the side window. Just leave a label at the top and let the window secure it in place-- I strongly recommend doing this for quick and easy reflective insulation applications.

I can't sleep comfortably< I tried blackout curtains, aluminum curtains, window film, and even cardboard. This window is roughly. 6 feet 3 feet, the heat radiated from the window is ruthless< It wasn't until I used this insulation material that I got a noticeable relief. During the day, the room will not be hotter than 82-85 degrees Fahrenheit. At night, it can be as cool as 68< You must use aluminum tape. I first use tape, and the heat is still passing through. I also have cardboard and blackout curtains that help maintain heat. I know it sounds a lot, but it's worth feeling comfortable. It allows the air conditioner to take a break< Before, I couldn't fall asleep because I was too hot and sweating profusely. Now, I can sleep very comfortably. Yes, the room is very dark. Very suitable for sleeping< This is a quick and inexpensive repair that can cool down the room.

The pipes will become as hot as 95-98 degrees, and as the insulation layer decreases, they will drop to 79-80 degrees, resulting in a significant improvement in insulation and a much cooler feeling in the room. I suggest using it together with a portable communication tube. I cannot guarantee anything other than my current use.

There are small silver flakes everywhere. So, this coating is not very durable. I think the main purpose of this thing is to serve as a reflective barrier for outdoor use - reflecting most of the heat and isolating the rest. But if that reflective layer collapses, it won't work! ha-ha

I sewed some soft nylon rope into four sections, with two sections tied to the front and one root on each side attached to the wheel. It is flexible enough to do this, but strong enough to withstand most hail (obviously not big hail). So I cannot comment on its insulation ability, but for purposes beyond my label, it works exactly as I hoped.

It has perforations throughout the entire sheet, so the cold will come in. It is also very thin and easy to tear. I don't recommend this product at all, especially for insulation. I plan to throw everything into the trash can and instead purchase genuine Reflectix. Perhaps it's possible to reflect light out of the window in summer, but it's no longer useful to me now. I deeply regret this purchase.

There are walls in the morning, which feel very cool to the touch. The surface of the insulation is only slightly warmer. But obviously, the insulation material played a role because there was ice on the glass. To keep the interior of the RV warm, we use less propane to keep it warm.

Ultra light, easy to cut, but it is a thick and sturdy material. It's great to stick it on some tape. Absolutely prevented all cold air from entering the unit and saved me $6 per gallon on my fuel bill. Very cost-effective and easy to use, it will definitely be used again for other projects.

    I use it to cover the inner panel of the garage door. Excellent. Maintain a temperature of around 50 degrees Celsius and outdoor air at around 30 degrees Celsius. Also used for bedroom windows. Prevent the room from getting cold< The only downside is that you have to stick it with tape, which is okay, but in the garage I had to use gorilla glue to secure the door. In the bedroom, I used transparent packaging tape, but in winter, I will do it again

    My townhouse has cheap single pane widows, so my place gets very cold in winter unless I turn up the heating. This year I bought foam packaging to isolate some of my windows and window plastic using hair dryer< Br>
    My dilemma is my sliding balcony door. The foam package is too thick to slide between the panels, and I cannot seal it with plastic because I have to let my dog out< I'm not sure what search led me to this thing, maybe researching the production of my own Jeep roof lining to isolate and reduce the sound on my Jeep hardtop, as the actual kit provided by the seller is far beyond my price range< This thing works very well and is easy to cut. I used some double-sided tape to stick it to my sliding glass door. It is thin enough to fit between two panels, and it can also effectively isolate glass doors. What I mean is, I can feel the difference between the bubble wrap and cling film on each window. In my opinion, this thing easily won the victory, and next year I will use this and the plastic wrap on other windows.

I easily cut out a piece of 28 inches x 72 inches. to be helpful to! It also rolls up very small. I also cut a piece of my dog's bed. I only need about 6 feet, so I still have a lot left. I hope I can find a roll that is narrower... or shorter in length, so there won't be too much waste.

Sufficient width can plant some healthy plants, and sufficient length can provide some overlap and prevent light leakage< I bought 16 items; x 10' Volume. I have a standard restaurant grade steel wire rack with a size of 12 inches; dx 36" l My seedlings are placed on top. The height from the seedling rack to the next rack is 16 inches;, This shelf can be used for growing lamps. I will open the bottom to allow air circulation. Secure it with standard nylon buckles at all corners and seams. The reflectivity of this material is sufficient to have some cheap LED growth lights on all sides for wonderful light dispersion. My seedlings are growing very well! I'm glad I can buy enough things, so there's no waste. I should be able to roll it up and easily store it for next year's growth cycle. A good cheap alternative to prefabricated planting tents!

Net.is is a material that is not very thick, about sunset, so you can see that it doesn't completely block the light, and the sun is shining directly at the moment.     Pure garbage. Not measured according to the posted dimensions, with a width that is 1/2 inch shorter and a length that is a few feet shorter. Fragile, not done well at all. I don't see how effective this is as an insulator, but I may be wrong. I returned the remaining papers because of my tight schedule. Despite being deceived about the size, I still tried this project. I got up with aluminum tape (stuck on the insulation layer like a beast), but it easily tore. I do feel cooler through the insulation layer of some covered metal shed walls, but not too much. I didn't bother to test it because I thought I would only be more disappointed.

I put them on the window to increase the insulation effect. I'm going to bed now. When I woke up, it looked like a small star, crossing my window in a diagonal pattern. Along the way. I stood up and looked at the window behind me. So, I went to open the second bag of insulation material and lifted it up to the sun. The same pattern Some of the manufacturer's items have pierced small holes in the insulation layer. Throughout the entire volume. I tried to contact them. no way!! What should we do then? At this point, I can only say that the first roll I purchased earlier was good, but when I reordered two rolls, they both had small holes. Not cool! And you can't contact them.

    After owning portable air conditioners for many years, I found out that they sell heat shields. The problem is that for most people, their prices are too high (some cost $50), and I'm not even sure if it's suitable. It says hoses with a diameter of 5 inches or 5.9 inches. The circumference is actually 19 inches, with a diameter exceeding 6 inches. So I purchased this insulated smart shield because I know it can be installed around hoses, and I can do double insulation, and it's cheaper. I only used small pieces of duct tape and plastic cable ties to fix the insulation layer, and I placed them in sections (which makes it easier to adapt to the bending of the air conditioning hose). Through the insulation layer, it definitely helps to cool my room better (and I'm sure it will save money because I don't have to keep the air conditioning on all the time). I definitely recommend it.

Since installing it, I can work upstairs without even needing to turn on the air conditioning. Before, even with the air conditioning on, I couldn't stand it. Another reviewer mentioned that this curtain lowered the room temperature by about 30 degrees, and I completely believe this (although I haven't measured it myself). Perhaps the most cost-effective $30 I've ever spent, I wish I had bought it a few years ago
