    I purchased SmartSHEILD to insulate the windows of my camper van for winter living. I gave it four stars, I don't know how it works at freezing temperatures. I cut it to fit and connect it to the window frame using self-adhesive Velcro strips. The material is very thin, so I can install it with the blinds in place. So far, we are happy to see when it falls below zero in January. Side note: I tested a portion of it in an open flame and found that the material shrinks/melts without using sources that are close to extreme.

    I bought this, hoping to block the light in the RV. In this regard, it is not much better than bubble wrap. It is somewhat semi transparent and has countless exquisitely patterned pinholes that allow light to shine. It may be very effective for heat. I bought this based on several comments that said it blocked the light. Yes, that's true, but it's still far from enough. If that's why you're looking at this foil, please continue searching. This is what I am doing.

    I made a cover for my overheated and noisy steam radiator using it. The heat is reduced to a comfortable temperature, and the noise is greatly reduced. My radiator hissed when I first started, which used to make it difficult for me to fall asleep, but now the noise can be controlled. I have been using it for about 4 months now and it is still effective.

    I bought this for several purposes. I cut some and then threaded a zipper tie through it to cover an electronic device that was exposed to sunlight all day. It reflects the sun and prevents water from directly hitting the electronic water timer. I also used a piece of ice on the door of the ice maker, which put ice inside the door and kept melting until it was enough to clog the dispenser. It has been very helpful. I'm sure I will have other uses.

    I bought insulation rollers to cover my portable AC tubes, which radiate heat back into the room, rendering communication ineffective. The pipes will become as hot as 95-98 degrees, and as the insulation layer decreases, they will drop to 79-80 degrees, resulting in a significant improvement in insulation and a much cooler feeling in the room. I suggest using it together with a portable communication tube. I cannot guarantee anything other than my current use.

    The price of this product is reasonable, and it is quite effective in blocking heat (under direct sunlight, the temperature of the garage door can be reduced by about 30 degrees). However, it is very thin, far less than the thickness shown in misleading images (unless they are displaying different products)< Furthermore, the content you receive may be shorter than what you ordered. My 50 foot order is approximately 48 feet.

    I bought this as a reflective insulation layer to make my backyard vending machine less like a solar oven It worked, at least a little bit - but in the first rain, it turned into sparkling ashes. There are small silver flakes everywhere. So, this coating is not very durable. I think the main purpose of this thing is to serve as a reflective barrier for outdoor use - reflecting most of the heat and isolating the rest. But if that reflective layer collapses, it won't work! ha-ha

My house doesn't have insulation So crawling space is what I think is the first draft on the floor, followed by the windows This only applies to 4 months of the year. I'm just doing some DIY Because it is a ranch from the 1950s And I do need a contractor, the attic is also open to air in the surrounding area This is placed on the latch door in the attic. Insulation board is required above the truss.

    We cut out this piece of paper and put it behind the curtains, ropes, and in front of the window. When camping in late autumn, winter, and early spring, we cover the windows at night. There are walls in the morning, which feel very cool to the touch. The surface of the insulation is only slightly warmer. But obviously, the insulation material played a role because there was ice on the glass. To keep the interior of the RV warm, we use less propane to keep it warm.

    I bought this for use as a perimeter/barrier around the garden seedlings that I started growing indoors. Sufficient width can plant some healthy plants, and sufficient length can provide some overlap and prevent light leakage< I bought 16 items; x 10' Volume. I have a standard restaurant grade steel wire rack with a size of 12 inches; dx 36" l My seedlings are placed on top. The height from the seedling rack to the next rack is 16 inches;, This shelf can be used for growing lamps. I will open the bottom to allow air circulation. Secure it with standard nylon buckles at all corners and seams. The reflectivity of this material is sufficient to have some cheap LED growth lights on all sides for wonderful light dispersion. My seedlings are growing very well! I'm glad I can buy enough things, so there's no waste. I should be able to roll it up and easily store it for next year's growth cycle. A good cheap alternative to prefabricated planting tents!
