   I cut these out and put them on my window, and tried them for 2 weeks. My apartment is much warmer with insulation materials! I tested it, no and no, my apartment is much cooler without insulation material! I have white blinds, and after searching on Google, Google says' white panels are the best ', but these should keep my place cool, but that's not the case< Wasting money!!

   My mother lives in the Southern California desert, and during the current heatwave, outdoor temperatures typically range from 100 to 110 degrees Celsius. She has a 46 inch x 46 inch single pane glass window that faces the sun most of the day. Although there is a sunshade outside the window, the direct sunlight still makes it very hot. She hung a thin colored film and some cardboard in front of the window, which might be helpful, but I've heard of these types of reflective insulation materials, and I think I'll try putting some of them on the window to see if they're effective< She needed to be able to take it off, so I cut a piece and folded it at the top, then threaded several wide washers with nuts and bolts through the insulation layer so that I could hang it on the window with a spring curtain rod. I felt how hot it was in front of the window with the film hanging on it. After installing new insulation material in front of the window, I came back the next day, the difference between day and night. It is very thin, only three millimeters, but it can indeed significantly reduce heat levels< It is indeed rolled, so the foil needs to be rolled in the opposite way to lay flat on the window without curling. I hope that over time, it can completely eliminate the influence of its own weight and warmth. I did notice that there were indeed small mesh holes mentioned on the film, but in this roll, they were very small and inconspicuous unless you were really looking for them in direct sunlight behind the insulation layer. You can't even see them in the pictures I attached. This movie is not as cheap as I claimed, but I would definitely say that in terms of the benefits gained, it is a good purchase.

   I didn't know about the existence of this thing until I searched for insulation materials on and it received the highest rating. I understand why. It is thin, easy to cut, easy to install, non itchy, and effective.

   I bought this because I live in San Antonio, Texas, where the summer temperatures can reach up to 105 degrees Celsius. I first apply the heat reflective window film (also purchased on ), and then use the command bar to place it on top of the film. It reduced the internal surface temperature by about 30 degrees. It's not perfect, but it's a noticeable difference.
