    Dogs always hate cutting their nails, so I got this on my friend's advice. I use Mode 6 to move forward quickly, and the noise won't disturb my Australians. After some reward training, they sit there and won't pull their claws or bite like they do with cutting. The light also makes me more confident, even on dark nails, I won't hit them quickly. I like this thing!

    If you have never used an electric filter for your dog's nails, don't expect this product to do three things. I am a very skilled woman, but this is a completely different learning curve. It's difficult to manipulate, I don't know if the nail will come out, and it will eventually look like a knife or soft edge. Not to mention that you need to make sure you don't hit the blood vessels in your nails. Believe me, give your beautician the money to do this job. Unless you plan to become an alcoholic due to feeling frustrated trying to use this machine correctly on your dog's nails.

    The battery life is very poor. Before needing to charge, it is barely possible to continue nail grinding once. Disappointing.

    Beautiful and quiet, it is the preferred nail grooming tool for small dogs. They may be afraid of loud noise and may be afraid of cutting too close and bleeding; But it lacks the necessary strength and size to accommodate (open protective gear) or indent (even with exposed wheels) dog nails weighing nearly 35 pounds or more. A person can use this tool to work on those nails all day long, but still can't walk far. Fortunately, in the salon where I volunteered, most dogs were very small. Beauticians often borrow this grinder because it is very quiet.
