I can adjust it around the top of my head to fit it, and then of course tighten the strap to my chin so that my child can easily pull it off. Nevertheless, the size of 6-24 months is far from suitable for my 1; Month age. His head is big, but I think since they say it lasts for 24 months, it's suitable for tight fitting and not too small. In summary, if you have a big headed baby/toddler, I will adjust the size because you can tighten it!
